Changqing Bicycle Path Introduction

The Changqing Bicycle Path connects Tianzhong Forest Park and Qingshui Rock, serving as a shared path for both pedestrians and cyclists. Along the route, there is a rich low-altitude ecology, and the pavilions in the mountains offer panoramic views of the vast plains and the sight of high-speed trains passing by, making it a favorite among cyclists from various places and local residents. The Changqing Bicycle Path is approximately 6 kilometers long and can be divided into the regular and challenging routes based on the flatness and slope of the terrain. The regular route, nearly 4 kilometers long, passes by Zantian Temple, Qingshui Rock, and extends to Hushen Temple in Shetou Township. This path has a gentler slope, making it an excellent choice for family outings and fitness activities. The challenging route, about 2 kilometers long, is marked at 7100 meters, also known as the "7000 Route." This path features steep and treacherous slopes, making cycling more physically demanding, so it is recommended that cyclists prepare thoroughly and choose a route that suits their physical condition. Every year, around the spring equinox in March, flocks of Gray-faced Buzzards migrate through the Bagua Mountain Range, and the end of the challenging route is very close to the Hengshan Eagle Watching Platform, attracting many cyclists who want to enjoy the thrill of riding the winds and witnessing the rare sight of eagles soaring in the sky. Additionally, the tung flower season in late spring to early summer is also not to be missed; cycling while admiring the beautiful tung flowers and feeling the mountain breeze is a dreamy experience and a great enjoyment.
