Changqing Bicycle Path Introduction
The Changqing Bicycle Path connects Tianzhong Forest Park and Qingshui Rock, and is a shared path for both pedestrians and cyclists. It is rich in low-altitude ecology, and the pavilions in the mountains offer a panoramic view of the vast plains and the sight of high-speed trains passing by, making it a favorite among cyclists and local residents. The Changqing Bicycle Path is approximately 6 kilometers long and can be divided into two categories based on terrain flatness and slope: standard level and challenge level. The standard route is nearly 4 kilometers long, passing through Zantian Temple and Qingshui Rock, all the way to Hutian Temple in Shetou Township. This route has a gentler slope, making it an excellent choice for family outings and fitness activities. The challenge route is about 2 kilometers long and is referred to as the "Seven Thousand Route" because the endpoint is marked at 7100 meters. The path is steep and rugged, requiring more physical exertion for cyclists; it is recommended that cyclists prepare adequately and choose a route suitable for their fitness level. Every year around the spring equinox in March, flocks of the grey-faced buzzard eagle migrate over the Bagua Mountain Range, and the endpoint of the challenge route is very close to the Hengshan Eagle Watching Platform, attracting many cyclists who enjoy the thrill of riding and then come to appreciate the rare sight of numerous eagles soaring in the sky. Additionally, the Tung Flower season from late spring to early summer is also a must-see; riding a bicycle while enjoying the beauty of the Tung Flowers and feeling the mountain breeze creates a dreamlike experience that is truly enjoyable.
