土地公廟

Fude Temple is the spiritual center of Dingbenzi settlement and is nicknamed "the dumbest Tudi Gong temple in all of Taiwan" due to its location. The temple does not have a statue; instead, it simply has a stone tablet inscribed with "Fude Zhengshen," indicating its long history. The Chaozhou-style octagonal prism and the "Hua Tai" (which symbolizes the nurturing of the fetus) in the shape of a traditional high-backed chair reveal the Hakka ancestry of the ancestors. Although the temple is small, it is formed from the combination of six large stones, and its rain shelter design is a classic example of Tudi Gong temples. The stone-built Tudi Gong temple is a testament to Dingbenzi's nickname, "Stone Settlement."

Tudi Gong Temple Introduction

Fude Temple is the center of faith for the Dingbenzi settlement, and due to its location, it is nicknamed "The Dumbest Land God Temple in Taiwan." The temple does not have a statue, but rather features a stone tablet inscribed with "Fude Zhengshen," indicating its long history. The Chaozhou-style octagonal prism and the "Hua Tai" (a form symbolizing the nurturing of life), resembling a large armchair at the back of the temple, reveal the Hakka ancestry of the ancestors. Although small, the temple is intricately carved and formed from six large stones, with its rain shelter being a classic example of a Land God temple. The stone-built Land God temple serves as evidence that Dingbenzi is also known as the "Stone Settlement."
