土地公廟

Fude Temple is the center of faith for the Dingbenzi settlement, nicknamed "the dumbest Land God Temple in Taiwan" due to its location. There are no statues in the temple; instead, a stone tablet is inscribed with "Fude Zhengshen," indicating its ancient origins. The octagonal column in the Chaozhou style and the "Huatai" (a type of cradle for nurturing life) shaped like a Taishi chair behind the temple reveal the Hakka heritage of the ancestors. Although small, the temple is composed of six large stones carved and combined as one, with a unique design that exemplifies the classic Land God Temple style. The Land God Temple made of stone is a testament to Dingbenzi being known as the "Stone Settlement."

Tudi Gong Temple Introduction

Fude Temple is the religious center of the Dingbenzi community, affectionately nicknamed "the dumbest Land God temple in Taiwan" due to its location. The temple lacks a deity statue, instead featuring a stone tablet inscribed with "Fude Zhengshen," indicating its ancient origins. The Chaozhou-style octagonal prism and the "Hua Tai" (spiritual nurturing) at the back, resembling a high-backed chair, reveal the Hakka heritage of the ancestors. Though small, the temple is sculpted from six large stones, and its rain-eaves shape is a classic example of Land God temples. This stone-constructed Land God temple serves as a testament to Dingbenzi, which is also known as the "Stone Settlement."
