Nanheng Tianchi Introduction
Nan Heng Tian Chi is located about 135 kilometers along the Nan Heng Highway in the Taoyuan District. The lake, situated at an altitude of 2,200 meters, is behind the Changqing Shrine and never dries up, with a depth of about 2 meters. This alpine lake, shaped like a heart, is also known as Heart Lake or the Heart of the Mountain. Due to its high altitude, it is often surrounded by mist and clouds, resembling a heavenly pool. The water is always abundant and crystal clear, reflecting the lush mountain scenery like a mirror from the slopes covered with arrow bamboo. It is recommended to stay for about 3 hours. Currently, some sections of the road are restricted, and visitors must leave the restricted area before 3 PM.
