Nanheng Lake Introduction
Nan Heng Tian Chi is located about 135 kilometers along the Nan Heng Highway in the Taoyuan District, at an altitude of 2,200 meters. The lake, which is located behind the Changqing Shrine, does not dry up year-round and has a depth of about 2 meters. It is a high-altitude lake, often surrounded by clouds and mist, resembling a celestial lake. Due to its heart shape, it is known as Heart Lake, and it is also referred to as the Heart of the Mountains. The lake's water is clear and emerald green, and when viewed from the grassy slopes of arrow bamboo, it reflects the beautiful mountain scenery like a mirror. It is recommended to spend about 3 hours here. Currently, some segments of the road are restricted, and visitors must leave the restricted area before 3 PM.
