Jinbaoshan and Teresa Teng Memorial Park (Junyuan) Introduction
Visiting Jinbaoshan may completely change your traditional impression of a solemn cemetery atmosphere. The design of the park, besides fulfilling religious needs, also exudes an artistic vibe. For example, the "Thousand Buddha Grotto" was conceived by Master Ju Ming, involving dozens of outstanding sculptors who spent years creating over 1,000 Buddha statues. There is also a stone forest area that features statues of modern famous figures, including puppetry master Li Tianlu, renowned director Hu Jinquan, and politician Lu Xiu Yi, preserving legendary personalities from old to new and from east to west in the form of sculptures. The well-known singer Teresa Teng is also buried in the Jinbaoshan cemetery - Jun Garden. Starting from the central square in front of the entrance, a large stone sculpture of piano keys catches the eye of visitors. In a small garden to the right of the entrance, there is a statue depicting Teresa Teng in a singing pose, as if her sweet and melodious voice lingers in our hearts. Fans and tourists who come here year after year express their longing and remembrance, showing that Teresa Teng has not been forgotten by the world. Coupled with the elegant and spacious environment here, it indeed complements the experience. From the expansive view of Jun Garden, one can take in the beautiful scenery of the Jinshan coastline, allowing visitors to truly appreciate the natural beauty of Jinshan.
