Zhongjiao Bay (Zhongjiao Bay International Surfing Base) Introduction
Zhongjiao Bay, with its concave sandy coastline, is an excellent surfing spot in Northern Taiwan, consistently attracting surfers as the northern winds bring wave after wave. During weekends, you can see many surfers riding the waves. The sandy beach at Zhongjiao Bay features a large shallow area with fine sand and few stones, making it very suitable for family outings where everyone can enjoy summer water activities together. Surrounding Zhongjiao Bay are paid hot and cold shower facilities, a visitor center, and a surfing center, along with several clubs offering board rentals and lessons, ensuring that both beginners and advanced surfers can find the thrill of surfing on this beach. If you want to relax and gaze at the sea, travelers can sit in the resting area of the circular plaza to enjoy the stunning views of the azure sea and sky or head to nearby scenic cafes for a leisurely afternoon with a cup of coffee. In addition to surfing and water activities, Zhongjiao Bay also offers a distant view of the famous scenic spot "Candleholder Islets" in Jinshan, which, due to its appearance resembling two candlesticks standing side by side, is accompanied by the touching legend of the "Couple Stones."
