Zhongjiao Bay (International Surfing Base) Introduction
Zhujiao Bay, with its concave sandy coastline, is an excellent surfing spot in northern Taiwan, influenced by the north winds throughout the four seasons, creating continuous waves. During holidays, you can see many surfers riding the waves. The sandy shore of Zhujiao Bay has a larger shallow area with fine sand and few stones, making it very suitable for family outings, allowing everyone to enjoy summer water play together. Surrounding Zhujiao Bay, there are paid hot and cold shower facilities, a visitor center, a surfing center, and several clubs offering surfboard rentals and lessons. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced surfer, you can experience the thrill of surfing on this beach. If you want to relax and enjoy the sea view, visitors can sit in the rest area of the circular plaza to enjoy the breathtaking views of the blue sea and sky or visit nearby scenic cafes for a leisurely afternoon with a cup of coffee. In addition to surfing and playing in the water, at Zhujiao Bay, you can also gaze at the famous scenic spot "Candlestick Islets" in Jinshan, which resembles two candlesticks facing each other, along with the poignant legend of the "Couple Stone."
