Guantian Visitor Center (Administrative Center of the Siraya National Scenic Area, Tourism Bureau) Introduction
The Guantian Visitor Center, which was inaugurated in August 2020, covers an area of approximately 11 hectares. The park's landscape is designed to integrate elements of a "rural settlement" with those of the Siraya people, reflecting the geographical contours of the Chianan Plain. Its convenient transportation location and full range of facilities will soon make it a new landmark for local tourism, serving as a hub connecting various scenic spots. It combines with the nearby National Highway 3 Wushantou Interchange, C.B. Wang Memorial Park, and Wushantou Reservoir, creating a convenient travel route that will promote local tourism more effectively. The overall configuration of the eye-catching architecture continues the traditional Siraya settlement design, oriented towards water bodies. Surrounded by the colors of mountains and rivers, the building forms a complete outdoor plaza as a symbol, primarily consisting of a two-story green building. In addition to comprehensive facilities, it is also planned to introduce local agricultural products for display and sale, providing a marketing window for these products, making it a multifunctional park that offers friendly and diverse services for tourists and local residents alike. Recommended driving routes: - From the south, exit National Highway 3 at Wushantou Interchange → take Route 171 towards Liuqia, Guantian → turn left onto Route 165 → turn left onto Fudian Road No. 99 to arrive. - From the north, use Guantian System Interchange on National Highway 3 → East-West Route 84 Northmen-Yuzai → exit at Guantian Interchange towards Northmen → turn right on Route 1 towards Guantian → turn right onto Hou Tan Road → turn left onto Fudian Road to arrive. Recommended public transport transfers: Nearby bus stops: 1. Guantian Visitor Center: Orange 5, Taiwan Tourist Shuttle - Lingbo Guantian Line (not in service on Wednesdays). Transfer methods: 1. You can take the train to Shanhua Station, Longtian Station, or Xinying Station, and transfer to the Tainan City Bus "Lingbo Guantian Line" to get off at "Guantian Visitor Center." 2. Groups wishing to view films should make reservations seven days in advance, with additional slots available for weekday reservations at 10:30 and 14:30.
