Guantian Visitor Center (Administrative Center of the Si'leya National Scenic Area, Tourism Bureau) Introduction
Guantian Visitor Center Live Instant Image Opened in August 2020, the Guantian Visitor Center covers an area of approximately 11 hectares. The landscape design integrates "rural settlement" and Siraya indigenous elements into the topographical imagery of the Chianan Plain. With convenient transportation and complete facilities, it aims to become a new landmark for local tourism, serving as a hub connecting major scenic areas. It will combine with the nearby National Highway No. 3 Wushantou Interchange, Hatian Yi Memorial Park, and Wushantou Reservoir to create a travel route with convenient transportation, further boosting local tourism. The eye-catching architectural arrangement continues the design concept of traditional Siraya settlements facing water, surrounded by the colors of mountains and rivers. The main structure, a two-story green building, encircles a complete outdoor plaza as a symbol. In addition to comprehensive facilities, it is also planned to introduce local agricultural specialty products for sale, providing a marketing window for local goods and making it a multifunctional park that offers more friendly and diverse services to visitors and local residents. Recommended driving route for self-driving: Southbound on National Highway No. 3, exit at Wushantou Interchange → take Route 171 towards Liujia and Guantian → turn left onto Route 165 → turn left at No. 99 Futin Road to arrive. Northbound on National Highway No. 3, use Guantian System Interchange → take the east-west Route 84 Expressway to the North Gate-Yujing Line → exit the Guantian ramp towards North Gate → turn right on Taiwan Route 1 towards Guantian → turn right onto Houtan Road → turn left onto Futin Road to arrive. Suggested public transportation transfer routes: Nearby bus stations: 1. Guantian Visitor Center: Orange 5, Taiwan Tourist Shuttle - Lingbo Guantian Line (not operating on Wednesdays) Transfer ways: 1. You can choose to take the Taiwan Railway to Shanhua Station, Longtian Station, or Xinying Station. After getting off the train, transfer to Tainan Bus "Lingbo Guantian Line" to get off at "Guantian Visitor Center." 2. You can take the train to Shanhua Station, then transfer to bus Orange 5 heading towards Liujia Station, and get off at "Guantian Visitor Center." Reminders: 1. Presentation room video playback times: daily at 10:00, 11:00, 14:00, and 15:00, four sessions in total. Eating and drinking are prohibited, and masks must be worn at all times. Groups wishing to view the presentation video should make a reservation seven days in advance. Extra sessions can be booked at 10:30 and 14:30 on weekdays.
