Taoyuan Valley Introduction
A vast grassland stretching three kilometers, it feels like stepping into a paradise, akin to a fairyland, where climbing high and looking far makes one forget the hustle and bustle. The lush green Taoyuan Valley, formerly known as Kuniaozi Mountain, was a place for children to graze and play during farming off-seasons. Today, it is one of the popular hiking routes favored by tourists, renowned for its three-kilometer gently sloping green meadows, resembling a green carpet carefully woven by nature. On clear days, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree view, looking east towards the Pacific Ocean and north towards Longdong Cape. In autumn and winter, strong monsoon winds bring fluffy clouds to Taoyuan Valley, and the white-back sedges across the hills create waves from the mountain and sea breezes, forming a refreshing and beautiful pastoral landscape. Taoyuan Valley, as the name suggests, is the source of the Taohua Yuan (Peach Blossom Spring) for the Wuling people, embodying tranquility and serenity separated from the world, accompanied by a few households, with smoke curling up and the sounds of chickens and dogs. Travelers hiking in this paradise will undoubtedly leave with deep impressions, savoring the experience long after. The traditional route to Taoyuan Valley starts from the Renze Community, featuring a steep uphill with winding paths, revealing new vistas and allowing the mind to become clear as it ascends. Upon reaching the expansive grassland full of natural beauty, friends and family can gather to chat or lie comfortably in a star shape, gazing at the blue sky, allowing the mountain breeze and sea breeze to caress them. Standing at the highest point, the Lanyang Plain and Guishan Island lie beneath one's feet, where mountains and seas intertwine, and humanity seems distant, truly a heavenly paradise.
