Taoyuan Valley Introduction
A vast grassland stretching three kilometers, it feels like stepping into a paradise, resembling a fairyland that makes one forget the noise of the world when looking afar from the heights. The green and lush Taoyuan Valley, formerly known as Kuan Cow Boy Mountain, was once a place for children to graze and play during the leisure time of farmers. Today, it is one of the most popular hiking trails among tourists, renowned for its three-kilometer-long gently sloping green grassland, like a green carpet meticulously woven by nature. On sunny days, one can enjoy a 360-degree view, gazing east towards the Pacific Ocean and north towards Longdong Cape. In autumn and winter, the strong monsoon brings clouds to Taoyuan Valley, and the white bulrushes on the mountains create waves with the mountain and sea breezes, forming a fresh and beautiful pastoral landscape. Taoyuan Valley, as the name suggests, is the source of the peach blossom land for Wu Ling people, embodying the tranquility and peace of a hidden world. With a few households, the scene of curling smoke and the sounds of chickens and dogs creates an unforgettable impression for hikers who will savor the memories of this paradise. The traditional route to climb Taoyuan Valley starts from the Renze Community, featuring a steep ascent with winding paths that eventually opens up to a broad view, making one's heart feel clear along with the stunning scenery. Upon reaching the wild and expansive grassland, friends and family can sit together to chat or lie comfortably, gazing up at the blue sky, letting the mountain and sea breezes caress them. Standing at the highest point, the Lanyang Plain and Guishan Island lie beneath, where the mountains and seas intertwine, and human presence is distant, truly a heavenly paradise.
