TaipeiEYE Introduction
TaipeiEYE ─ A cultural and tourism traditional performing arts theater that serves as a cultural showcase to broaden your horizons, sustainably operating traditional Chinese performing arts in Taiwan. It features a wide range of Chinese traditional arts, including Peking opera, glove puppetry, folk crafts, and Indigenous music and dance, performed by outstanding local performing groups like the Taipei New Theatre. In addition to theatrical performances, there are also "behind-the-scenes" exhibitions of makeup, costumes, and music, allowing the audience to experience the traditional cultural atmosphere beyond just watching the shows. During important festivals (Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival), interactive folk art exhibitions and showcases are added. Performances include subtitles in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, and front-of-house staff proficient in various languages provide thoughtful service.
