TaipeiEYE Introduction
TaipeiEYE - A cultural and tourism traditional performing arts theater that serves as a cultural showcase, sustainably presenting traditional Chinese performing arts in Taiwan. It features a variety of traditional Chinese arts, including Peking opera, glove puppetry, folk crafts, and indigenous singing and dancing, performed by outstanding local troupes such as the Taipei New Theatre. In addition to theater performances, there are segments showcasing makeup, costumes, and music, allowing audiences to not only watch the show but also experience the atmosphere of traditional culture. During major festivals (Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival), additional interactive displays of folk arts are provided. Performances include subtitles in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, with staff who are familiar with various languages offering attentive service. Over the years, it has become a popular destination in Taiwan and is the best representative of Taipei's cultural image.
