TaipeiEYE Introduction
TaipeiEYE is a cultural tourism theater dedicated to traditional performing arts, serving as a cultural showcase that opens your eyes to the sustainable operation of authentic Chinese traditional performing arts in Taiwan. It features a variety of traditional Chinese arts, including Peking opera, glove puppetry, folk skills, and indigenous song and dance, performed by outstanding local troupes such as the Taipei New Theater. In addition to stage performances, there are demonstrations of makeup, costumes, and music, allowing the audience to not only watch the shows but also experience the traditional cultural atmosphere. During important festivals (Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival), interactive folk art displays are also added. The performances are accompanied by subtitles in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, with front-of-house staff fluent in various languages providing caring service. Over the years, it has become a tourist hotspot in Taiwan and the best representative of Taipei's cultural image.
