Taipei EYE Introduction
TaipeiEYE is a cultural tourism venue showcasing traditional performing arts. It serves as a cultural showcase that aims to sustainably promote authentic Chinese traditional performing arts in Taiwan. The venue features a variety of Chinese traditional arts, including Peking opera, puppet theater, folk craftsmanship, and indigenous song and dance performances, presented by outstanding domestic performing groups such as the Taipei New Theatre. In addition to theater performances, there are also behind-the-scenes segments showcasing makeup, costumes, and music, allowing the audience to not only watch the show but also experience the traditional cultural atmosphere. During major festivals (Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival), there are additional interactive displays and demonstrations of folk art. Performances include subtitles in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, and staff members fluent in various languages provide thoughtful services. Over the years, it has become a tourism hotspot in Taiwan and the best representative of Taipei's cultural image.
