TaipeiEYE Introduction
TaipeiEYE is a cultural and tourism traditional performance arts theater that serves as a window to the rich traditions of Chinese performing arts in Taiwan. It features a wide range of traditional Chinese arts, including Peking opera, glove puppetry, folk crafts, and indigenous song and dance, with performances by outstanding local teams such as the Taipei New Theatre. In addition to stage performances, the theater offers behind-the-scenes displays of makeup, costumes, and music, allowing the audience to experience the traditional cultural atmosphere rather than just watching a show. During important festivals (Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival), there are additional interactive folk art displays. The performances provide subtitles in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, with staff fluent in multiple languages offering attentive service. Over the years, it has become a popular tourist destination and the best ambassador for Taipei's cultural image.
