Ice Rice Dumpling Museum Introduction
The Ice Zongzi Invention Museum is operated by the Yongtai Food Company, which initially started with traditional mochi production. It is a great place for parents to take their children to experience the fun of DIY making ice zongzi. Outside the museum, there is a large wall covered in colorful graffiti, which was a collaborative creation by local elementary school students from Beidou. The museum has a charming old-fashioned style. The first floor introduces the production line, featuring displays of early mochi-making machines along with explanatory texts and images. The second floor is the exhibition area, showcasing the unique flavors of ice zongzi and a sales area, as well as a DIY classroom where children can experience making mini zongzi and a parent-child play area, which is a favorite for kids!
