Waimushan Lake Bay Introduction
The Lake-Hai Road, which is approximately 4 kilometers long, runs between the Waimushan Fishing Port and the Dawulun Aodi Fishing Village, and is the longest natural coastline remaining in Keelung City. Near Waimushan Fishing Port, there are natural seawater swimming facilities that allow better swimmers to enjoy swimming or snorkeling; Dawulun Aodi Beach is the only beach within Keelung City. Although it is an artificial beach, it features a tranquil landscape with white and clean sand, showcasing charming coastal scenery. Additionally, there are many seafood restaurants, cafes, and mobile tourist service stations along the route, making it a great place for families, youth, and couples to visit. Between Dawulun Aodi Beach and Wanli District in New Taipei City, the Lake-Hai Bay has coastlines sculpted by years of seawater erosion, creating unique rock formations. Visitors can admire the stunning views of the sky and sea here. Walking along the bicycle path also offers a distant view of Keelung Islet and the sight of large ships entering the harbor, making it an excellent spot for leisure and hiking. The tourist service station set up for visitors allows them to sip coffee or tea while listening to the sound of the waves, enjoy the breathtaking sunset, and admire the twinkling fishing lights on the sea, making it a place worth exploring and experiencing.
