Waikejiao Bicycle Path Introduction
The distance from Keelung Waimushan Fishing Port to Wanli Happiness Square is approximately 5 kilometers, which includes two segments of the Waimushan Coastal Cycling Path and the Lake-Hai Bay Cycling Path, passing through Keelung's Waimushan Coastal Scenic Area. Cyclists can enjoy the natural beauty of Keelung's coastline along the way. You can feel the breeze and gaze at Keelung Island along the Lover's Lake Coastal Boulevard, or have fun at Dawulun Aodi Beach nearby. The Lake-Hai Bay Cycling Path also connects directly to Wanli Lion Park, allowing you to wander through one of the most magnificent segments of the North Taiwan Coastal Highway. The most popular section of the Waimushan route is the Lover's Lake Coastal Boulevard, where the flat seaside path is perfect for cycling, especially at dusk when the sunset creates beautiful hues in the sky. It is a great spot to pause, listen to the waves, and enjoy the scenery of the waves crashing against the shore. On the Lake-Hai Bay section, the "Meow Meow Coffee" café station, located about 1.2 kilometers from the endpoint at Lion Park, is a coastal recreational area converted from an old swimming pool. Here, the scenic views of the sea and sky are stunning, and there are multiple benches available for rest, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the breeze.
