Waimushan Bikeway Introduction
The distance from Keelung's Waimushan Fishing Port to Wanli Happiness Square is approximately 5 kilometers, which includes two segments: the Waimushan Coastal Bicycle Path and the Lake Bay Bicycle Path. This route takes you through Keelung's Waimushan Coastal Scenic Area, allowing you to ride alongside the beautiful natural coastline of Keelung. You can enjoy the breeze along the Lover's Lake Coastal Boulevard while gazing at Keelung Islet, or splash around at Dawulun Ao Beach. The nearby Lake Bay Bicycle Path connects all the way to Wanli Lion Park, immersing you in the most magnificent section of the coastal highway in northern Taiwan. The most popular section along Waimushan is the Lover's Lake Coastal Boulevard, which is a flat and bike-friendly path built along the coast, especially stunning during sunset when the sky is filled with colorful clouds, making it perfect for stopping and listening to the waves while enjoying the scenery. The "Meow Meow Coffee" café station on the Lake Bay section is about 1.2 kilometers from the destination Lion Park. It is a seaside recreational area converted from an old swimming pool, offering beautiful views of the sea and sky, with several seating areas for relaxation, making it ideal for sitting back, unwinding, and enjoying the breeze.
