Waimushan Bicycle Path Introduction
The Keelung Wai'ershan Fishing Port to Wanli Happiness Plaza is approximately 5 kilometers long, including two sections of the coastal bike paths: the Wai'ershan Coastal Bike Path and the Lake Bay Bike Path. This route passes through Keelung's Wai'ershan Coastal Scenic Area, allowing riders to cycle alongside Keelung's naturally beautiful coastline. You can enjoy the breeze and gaze at Keelung Islet along Lover's Lake Coastal Boulevard or have fun at Dawulun Sand Beach. The nearby Lake Bay Bike Path further connects to Wanli Lion Park, allowing you to wander through one of the most magnificent sections of the North Taiwan Mountain-Sea Highway. The most popular segment of the Wai'ershan section is the Lover's Lake Coastal Boulevard, where the waterfront path is flat and easy to ride, especially stunning during the evening with colorful sunsets. It is a perfect spot to stop, listen to the waves, and admire the scenery of waves crashing against the shore. The "Meow Meow Coffee" café station on the Lake Bay section is about 1.2 kilometers from the endpoint at Lion Park. This seaside leisure square, transformed from an old swimming pool, boasts beautiful views of the sea and sky, with plenty of seating available for relaxation, making it an ideal place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the breeze.
