The King of Grains is Shen Nong Da Di. Taiwan is a nation built on agriculture, primarily focusing on the cultivation of rice crops. The deity of grains, renowned for the contribution to grains and wheat, is acknowledged and respected by later generations. Therefore, every year, on the 26th day of the fourth lunar month, the celebration is grand and lively. The temple was founded during the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of several hundred years. Originally built by the local populace to pray for a bountiful harvest, the King of Grains Temple is now thriving in incense offerings, and a significant portion of the land used for the establishment of National Chung Cheng University was donated by this temple.

Wuguling Temple Introduction

Wuguxiang, also known as the God of Agriculture, is associated with Shennong, the deity revered for agricultural practices. Taiwan is a nation centered on agriculture, primarily growing rice crops; therefore, the God of the Five Grains, who promotes cereal grains, has gained acknowledgment and respect from later generations. Every year, on the 26th day of the fourth lunar month, a grand and lively festival is held in his honor. The temple was founded during the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of several hundred years. It was originally built by local people to pray for abundant harvests, and today it is a thriving site of worship. Much of the land for National Chung Cheng University was donated by this temple.

Transportation Methods:1. National Highway No. 1: Southbound, exit at the Dalin Interchange, head towards Minxiong on Taiwan Route 1, turn left onto County Route 106 towards National Chung Cheng University, and turn left at the Fengshou Village archway; it takes about three minutes to arrive. 2. National Highway No. 1: Northbound, exit at the Chiayi Interchange, head towards Minxiong on Taiwan Route 1, turn right onto County Route 106 towards National Chung Cheng University, and turn left at the Fengshou Village archway to arrive.
