Guangfu New Village Introduction
As Taiwan's first new town, Guangfu New Village was established in 1956 based on the British "Garden City" concept. With orderly streets and abundant greenery, it was equipped with modern facilities such as water supply, electricity, and transportation systems, and served as government staff housing for the provincial government. Today, through community revitalization, it has transformed into a base for youth entrepreneurship and cultural development. The red-brick old houses that retain the style of military dependents' villages now house art, cultural and creative shops, and cafes. On weekends, there are markets and experiential activities, making it the best place to stroll, take photos, and enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere blended with creativity.
