Asia University Introduction

Asia University is planned in a garden style, covering an area of 25 hectares. The campus is densely planted with seasonal flowering trees and features extensive lawns adorned with vibrant flowerbeds. Along the banks of the Tai Chi Lake, 3,000 rose bushes have been planted, creating a picturesque scene that complements the grand Baroque architecture and the stadium resembling a Roman amphitheater, establishing a quality garden university. Additionally, the Ando Museum, designed by the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, has become a new landmark in the Greater Taichung area. Asia University also houses a collection of sculptures by famous artists from both Taiwan and abroad, including original works by the renowned French sculptor Auguste Rodin, such as "The Thinker," "The Kiss," and "Eternal Spring." The collection also features sculptures by French artist Antoine Bourdelle, including "Victory" and "The Combination of Elephant and Instruments," as well as "Ballet Dancer at 14" by Dou Jian, and numerous works by local sculptor Yang Yingfeng, such as "Embracing Sky" and "The Phoenix Arrives," totaling nearly a hundred pieces. Due to the beautiful campus, "The sky at Asia University feels very European!" Walking through the campus feels like being in a place rich in cultural and artistic ambiance akin to Europe.
