Asia University Introduction
Asia University is designed as a garden campus covering an area of 25 hectares, featuring a large number of trees that bloom in all four seasons, extensive lawns, and vibrant flower beds. Along the Taichi Lake, 3,000 rose bushes have been planted, creating a stunning view alongside the magnificent Baroque architecture and the stadium styled like the Roman Colosseum, establishing a quality garden university. Additionally, the Ando Tadao Art Museum, designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, has become a new landmark in the Greater Taichung area. Asia University also houses sculptures by famous national and international artists, including the original large sculpture "The Thinker" and other works like "The Kiss" and "Eternal Spring" by renowned French sculptor Auguste Rodin. Other notable pieces include "The Victory of Samothrace" and "The Combination of Elephant and Instrument" by French sculptor Antoine-Louis Barye, as well as "The 14-Year-Old Ballerina" by Italian sculptor Alberto Giacometti, and nearly a hundred works by local sculptor Yang Yingfeng such as "Heaven Has the Capacity" and "The Phoenix Comes with Ceremony." Due to its beautiful campus, "the sky at Asia University feels European!"; walking through the campus is like experiencing a world enriched with cultural and artistic influences from Europe.
