Asia University Introduction
Asia University is planned in a garden style, covering an area of 25 hectares, featuring a vast number of seasonal flowering trees and extensive lawns decorated with vibrant flowerbeds. Along the banks of Tai Chi Lake, 3,000 rose bushes have been planted, creating a gorgeous landscape alongside the magnificent Baroque architecture and the sports field shaped like the Roman Colosseum, establishing a high-quality garden university. Additionally, the Ando Akira Museum designed by the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando has become a new landmark in the Greater Taichung area. Asia University also houses sculptures by renowned artists both domestic and international, including the original large sculpture "The Thinker" by French sculptor Rodin, as well as "The Kiss" and "Eternal Spring", among others. The collection also includes works by French sculptor Aman such as "The Spirit of Victory" and "The Combination of Elephants and Instruments", as well as Dou Jia's "14-Year-Old Ballerina" and local sculptor Yang Yingfeng's works "Harmony with Heaven" and "Phoenix Coming Ritual", totaling nearly a hundred pieces. Due to the beautiful campus, "The sky of Asia University feels very European!" Walking through the campus feels like being in a place rich in cultural and artistic heritage of Europe.
