Asia University Introduction
Asia University is designed in a garden style, covering an area of 25 hectares with a large number of seasonal flowering trees and expansive lawns, adorned with vibrant flower beds. Along the banks of the Taichi Lake, 3,000 rose bushes have been planted, creating a stunning visual effect alongside the grand Baroque architecture and the sports field shaped like the Roman amphitheater, establishing a high-quality garden university. Additionally, the Ando Tadao Art Museum, designed by the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, has become a new landmark in the Greater Taichung area. Asia University also houses sculptures by famous artists from both Taiwan and abroad, including the original large sculpture "The Thinker" by the French sculptor Rodin, as well as works such as "The Kiss" and "Eternal Spring." Other pieces include "The Muse of Victory" and "The Union of Elephant and Instruments" by the French sculptor Aman, as well as "The 14-Year-Old Ballerina" by Dou Jia and nearly a hundred other works by local sculptor Yang Yingfeng, such as "Embrace the Sky" and "The Phoenix Appears." Due to the beauty of the campus, "The sky of Asia University feels very European!" Walking through the campus feels like being in a place rich in cultural arts found in Europe.
