Asia University Introduction
Asia University is planned in a garden style, covering an area of 25 hectares. The campus is filled with a large number of trees that bloom in all seasons, along with vast expanses of lawns and beautifully adorned flowerbeds. Along the banks of the Tai Chi Lake, 3,000 roses have been planted, creating a stunning visual contrast with the grand Baroque architecture and the sports stadium shaped like the Roman Colosseum, forming a high-quality garden university. Additionally, the Tadao Ando Art Museum, designed by the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, has become a new landmark in the Greater Taichung area. Asia University also houses sculptures by internationally renowned sculptors, including the original large sculpture "The Thinker" by the famous French sculptor Rodin, as well as "The Kiss" and "Eternal Spring." It also features works by French sculptor Aman, such as "Victory Goddess Poem" and "The Combination of Elephant and Instruments," along with Dou Ga's "14-Year-Old Ballerina," and nearly a hundred works by local sculptor Yang Yingfeng, including "Having Tolerance is Having Heaven" and "Phoenix Comes to Pay Homage." Due to the beautiful campus, "the sky at Asia University feels very European!" Walking through the campus feels like being immersed in a place rich in cultural and artistic essence.
