Asia University Introduction

Asia University is planned in a garden style, covering an area of 25 hectares. The campus is richly planted with a variety of flowering trees that bloom throughout the seasons, while large grass lawns are complemented by vibrant flower beds. Along the banks of Tai Chi Lake, 3,000 rose bushes have been planted, creating a stunning scene alongside the magnificent Baroque architecture and the stadium shaped like the Roman Colosseum, forming a high-quality garden university. Additionally, Asia University features the Ando Tadao Art Museum, designed by the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, which has become a new landmark in the Greater Taichung area. The university also houses a collection of sculptures by renowned sculptors from both Taiwan and abroad, including the original large sculpture "The Thinker" by the famous French sculptor Rodin, as well as works such as "The Kiss" and "Eternal Spring." Other notable pieces include "The Winged Victory of Samothrace" and "The Elephant and the Instruments" by French sculptor Aman, as well as "14-Year-Old Ballet Dancer" by Dou Jia, and locally inspired works like "Heaven Contains All" and "Phoenix's Arrival" by Taiwanese sculptor Yang Yingfeng, totaling nearly a hundred pieces. The beautiful campus evokes a European ambiance, making one feel as if they are immersed in a space rich in cultural and artistic atmosphere.
