A-Zhan Rice Cake Introduction
Next to National Formosa University, there is a rice cake shop called A-Zhan Rice Cake, established in 1992. It is a must-try snack for students and faculty at National Formosa University (formerly Yunlin Institute of Technology). The owner, Lin A-Rong (nicknamed A-Zhan), smiles as he shares that graduates from National Formosa University, upon entering the tech industry, still fondly remember the delicious flavors of rice cake and pork rib noodles, and even bring their supervisors to enjoy them when they visit Huwei. In the past, Mr. Lin was involved in garment trading and had dealings with Japan, where he was deeply impressed by the strict quality control requirements of the Japanese.
