Huwei Fu'an Temple Sugar Factory Matsu Introduction
Cifu Industrial Sugar Factory is home to Mafu An Temple, which enshrines Mazu. In the early days, the majority of the worshippers were employees of the Huwei Sugar Factory, and she is affectionately known as the "Sugar Factory Mazu." The temple was established around the early post-war period, with its incense offerings coming from Lukang Tianhou Temple and Lukang Xinzu Temple. Every year, during the "Syrup Movement," which marks the beginning of the sugar production season, the factory invites Mazu for a procession to bless the operations.
