Cifufu Industrial Sugar Factory's Mafu An Temple is dedicated to Mazu, and its early devotees were mostly employees of the Huwei Sugar Factory, affectionately referred to as "Sugar Factory Mazu." The temple was established around the early post-war period, with offerings coming from Lugang Tianhou Temple and Lugang Xinzuguan. Every year during the sugar-making season, known as "Pudong," the factory invites Mazu for a pilgrimage to bless the operations.
