The Cifufu Sugar Factory Mafu An Palace is dedicated to the worship of Mazu. Early believers were mostly employees of the Huwei Sugar Factory, and she is known as the "Sugar Factory Mazu." The temple was built around the early post-war period, with incense offerings coming from the Tianhou Temple in Lugang and the New Ancestor Temple in Lugang.
