Located in Douliu, Yunlin, the Japanese kitchen "Tōngchú" focuses on fresh and healthy ingredients, offering meals that are close to the original form of food. The restaurant's name comes from the idea of "cooking together and living well with friends." The owner and his wife, both returnees to Yunlin, decided to return to Douliu after traveling across Taiwan to open a restaurant and live together with their family. As the saying goes, "the simpler the dish, the more it showcases culinary skills." With fewer seasonings, the freshness of the ingredients becomes even more important. "Tōngchú" provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere, making it a suitable restaurant for families to enjoy together.
