Located in Douliu, Yunlin, the Japanese kitchen "Tong Chu" focuses on fresh and healthy ingredients, offering meals close to the original form of food. The restaurant’s name comes from the idea of "cooking together and enjoying a good life with friends." The owner and his wife, as returning youth from Yunlin, after traveling around Taiwan, decided to return to Douliu to open a restaurant and live with their family. As the saying goes, "The simpler the dish, the more it showcases the chef's skills." With fewer seasonings, the freshness of the ingredients becomes even more crucial. "Tong Chu" provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere, making it a great place for the whole family to enjoy together.
