Xiluo Yanping Old Street Cultural Center (Jiefa Qianji Tea House) Introduction
The Xiluo Yanping Old Street Cultural Center features a stunning fusion of Han, Japanese, and Western architectural styles. Originally the Jiefa Qianji Tea House owned by the Hsu family, it was later generously provided for use by local arts groups and community universities. This traditional three-section building consists of a tea shop, a hall, and a courtyard, showcasing a classic architecture that integrates the characteristics of Han, Japanese, and Western styles. In 2002, with the approval of the Hsu family, the Luoyang Cultural Foundation moved into the old Jiefa Tea House, and with the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, established the "Xiluo Yanping Old Street Cultural Center" as a base for cultural revitalization and the revitalization of old communities. Since then, Jiefa Qianji Tea House has become a place for cultural renaissance in Xiluo. In 2007, Jiefa was designated as a historical building. With funding from the Ministry of Culture, Yunlin County Government, donations from the Luoyang Cultural Foundation, and contributions from the Hsu family, it took 11 years to be fully restored and reopened in August 2013. The Luoyang Cultural Foundation continues to operate the "Xiluo Yanping Old Street Cultural Center" and the "Xiluo Tourist Service Center." For over a century, Jiefa Qianji Tea House has stood steadfast in the heart of Xiluo, providing an opportunity for the continuation and renewal of Xiluo's historical culture. The Jiefa Tea House carries on the mission of preserving and regenerating Xiluo's historical culture while embodying the pioneering spirit of its founder, Xu Jinsheng, who was dedicated to industriousness and benevolence. .Free audio guides available .Cultural and artistic activities and promotion .Guided tours (reservation required) .Tourist consultation services, providing guidebooks and event brochures
