Sanxia Market Food Education Base Introduction
The seeds of "Southern Drifting" have sprouted into a market. The founders of the Sanxiao Market are young individuals from Taipei, originally a concept from their graduation project. Through continuous effort and practice, it has become a local food education base in Yunlin and developed in conjunction with the county government to create the Sanxiao Small Farmer Market. Besides being a platform for youth entrepreneurship, it also advocates for fair agricultural trading. The Sanxiao Market conducts local-friendly farmer market activities in the agricultural county of Yunlin and has continuously operated for the past six years, promoting environmentally friendly farming and food education as its core mission. The guiding principle is "sharing," aiming to raise awareness about the good people, good deeds, and good products in Yunlin. Every Sunday, the farmer's market opens with fresh offerings, inviting local farmers to share experiences and conduct practical farming classes, leading visitors to learn about crops while also conveying the concept of friendly market ingredients. Various field activities allow tourists to participate in farming tasks, providing them a firsthand experience of the hardships faced by farmers, fostering direct dialogue opportunities between producers and consumers. There are specialized stores offering fresh fruits and vegetables, along with food and agricultural services. Additionally, the seasonal magazine "Yunlin Food Communication" is available with ingredient purchases, creating a community-supported agricultural platform suitable for modern families to participate together!
