Sanxia Market Food Education Base Introduction
The seeds of the South have sprouted a market. The founder of the Sanxia Market is a child from Taipei, originally an idea for a graduation project. After continuous effort and practice, it has become a local food education base in Yunlin, developed in collaboration with the county government into the Sanxia Small Farmers' Market. This is not only a youth entrepreneurship initiative but also a place advocating for fair agricultural trade. The Sanxia Market conducts local, farmer-friendly market activities in the agricultural county of Yunlin, operating continuously for six years, promoting environmentally friendly farming practices and food education as its core business philosophy, centered on "sharing." It aims to let more people know about the good people, good deeds, and good products of Yunlin. The farmer's market opens every Sunday with fresh produce, inviting local farmers to share experiences and conduct hands-on farming classes, guiding visitors to understand crops and conveying the concept of friendly market ingredients. Field activities allow visitors to participate in farming tasks, personally experiencing the hardships of farming management, and providing opportunities for producers and consumers to engage directly. There are specialty shops offering fresh fruits and vegetables and food services, along with the quarterly magazine "Yunlin Food Newsletter," which provides ingredients with magazine purchases, creating a community-supported agriculture platform suitable for modern families!
