Sanxia Market Food Education Base Introduction
The seeds of southern migration have sprouted a market. The founders of the Sanxia Market are kids from Taipei, originally conceived as a graduation project. Through continuous effort and practice, it has become a local food education base in Yunlin, collaborating with the county government to develop the Sanxia Small Farmers' Market. In addition to being a platform for youth entrepreneurship, it also advocates for fair trade in agriculture. The Sanxia Market hosts local friendly farmer market activities in the agricultural county of Yunlin, operating continuously for six years to promote environmentally friendly farming and food education, with the operational philosophy centered around "sharing." The aim is to let more people know about the good people, good deeds, and good products in Yunlin. Every Sunday, the farmer's market opens with fresh produce, inviting local farmers to share their experiences and teach practical farming courses, guiding visitors to understand crops and conveying the concept of friendly ingredients from the market. They organize field activities for visitors to participate in farming tasks, allowing them to personally experience the hardships of farming operations and create opportunities for direct dialogue between producers and consumers. Additionally, there are specialized stores offering fresh fruits and vegetables and food-related services. They have also launched a magazine along with food ingredients, "Yunlin Food Communication" quarterly, making it a community-supported agricultural platform suitable for modern families to participate together!
