Yongfang Bakery Introduction

Yongfang Bakery was established by Mr. Tsai Yao-Nan in 1995. The store typically sells bread, longevity peaches, noodle turtles, and wedding cakes, but its signature product and best seller is the Bird Pastry. Mr. Tsai's great-grandfather once made a living by selling steamed red turtle cake on the streets, and Mr. Tsai learned baking from a young age, even working as a hotel chef. Therefore, the production methods at Yongfang Bakery differ from traditional confectionery. For example, the pastry for the Bird Pastry uses a kind of hot water dough, which can be rolled thinner and yields a crispier texture after baking. Selected as one of the "319 Smiling Shops" by 天下 Magazine, Yongfang Bakery has developed six flavors to offer customers more choices: red bean, sweet potato, taro, matcha, mung bean paste, and mushroom curry.
