Yongfang Bakery Introduction

Yongfang Bakery was established in 1995 by Mr. Tsai Yao-nan. The store typically sells bread, longevity buns, noodle turtles, wedding pastries, and other items, but its signature product and best-selling item is the bird-shaped pastry. Mr. Tsai learned baking from a young age, as his great-grandfather sold red turtle cakes along the street for a living, and he also worked as a hotel chef. As a result, the production methods of the products in his bakery differ from those of traditional pastry shops. For instance, the dough for the bird-shaped pastry uses a special hot water dough, which allows it to be rolled thinner and results in a crispier texture after baking. Selected as one of the "319 Rural Smiles" by CommonWealth Magazine, Yongfang Bakery has developed six flavors to offer more options for customers: red bean, sweet potato, taro, matcha, mung bean paste, and mushroom curry. Everyone is welcome to come and purchase.
