Paper Dragon Creative Workshop Introduction

The philosophy of "Puli Paper" since its establishment in 1979 is to carefully craft every sheet of paper. Under the leadership of founder Mr. Chang Ching-Hsiang, it has traversed 40 years and now markets its superior paper-making technology to over 60 countries across five continents. In 2007, with the guidance of the Industrial Technology Research Institute of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the "Paper Dragon DIY Museum" was established, which serves as a tourist factory that introduces mechanical paper-making techniques. Unlike traditional paper-making, Paper Dragon showcases a more modern and lifestyle-oriented mechanical paper, transmitting the warmth of paper to visiting guests through storytelling and DIY activities. The Paper Dragon DIY Museum is located in Puli, Nantou, a paper-making town that dates back to the Qing Dynasty. After enduring a challenging and competitive environment, it has transformed from a traditional paper factory into a tourist factory. Using its own factory-produced "Color Wave Paper," Paper Dragon has developed "Paper Lego Figurines" that are loved by children and adults alike. Besides enjoying the fun of DIY crafts, visitors can also appreciate numerous paper art designs and creations exhibited in the museum. Here, you will discover that paper is no longer just a simple sheet; it takes on many different forms, showcasing the richness of our aesthetic lives.
