Papermaking Dragon Creative Center Introduction
The philosophy of "Puli Paper" since its establishment in 1979 has been to meticulously craft every sheet of paper. Under the leadership of founder Mr. Chang Ching-Hsiang, it has traversed 40 years, successfully marketing superior papermaking technology to over 60 countries across five continents. In 2007, with guidance from the Industrial Technology Research Institute under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the "Papermaking Dragon Creative Workshop" was established, showcasing a modern approach to mechanical papermaking as a tourist factory. Unlike traditional papermaking, Papermaking Dragon presents a more modern and life-oriented style, conveying the warmth of paper through story tours and DIY crafts to visiting guests. The Papermaking Dragon Creative Workshop is located in Puli, Nantou, a paper-making town dating back to the Qing Dynasty. After enduring a period of hardship and intense competition, it has transformed from a traditional paper factory into a tourist attraction. Papermaking Dragon utilizes its own factory-produced "Color Wave Paper" to develop "Paper LEGO three-dimensional figures," which are loved by both children and adults. Besides allowing you to enjoy the fun of DIY crafting, the exhibition hall also showcases many designs and creations in paper art. When you come here, you will discover that paper is no longer just a simple sheet; it takes on different forms, reflecting our rich aesthetic life.
