Paper Dragon Handmade Workshop Introduction
"Making every piece of paper with care" has been the business philosophy of "Puli Paper" since its establishment in 1979. Under the leadership of founder Mr. Chang Ching-Hsiang, it has traversed 40 years, marketing its superior papermaking technology to over 60 countries across 5 continents. In 2007, with the guidance of the Industrial Technology Research Institute, the "Paper Dragon Creative Workshop" was established, which is a tourism factory showcasing mechanical papermaking. Unlike the traditional papermaking known to many, Paper Dragon presents a more modern and life-oriented form of mechanical paper. Through story-guided tours and DIY crafting, it conveys the warmth of paper to visiting tourists. The Paper Dragon Creative Workshop is located in Puli, Nantou, a small paper town that began during the Qing Dynasty. After enduring a period of hardships and fierce competition, it transformed the traditional paper mill into a tourism factory. Paper Dragon utilizes its produced "Color Wave Paper" to develop "Paper LEGO 3D figures," which are loved by both children and adults. In addition to allowing you to enjoy the fun of DIY crafting, the exhibition hall showcases many designs and creations of paper art. Here, you will discover that paper is no longer just a simple sheet; it offers diverse expressions in our rich aesthetic life.
