The owner, Master Mao, has over ten years of rich experience in chocolate making before launching the online store. Initially inspired by his children's love for chocolate, he went to Japan in 1999 to specialize in chocolate. After returning to Taiwan, he continued to experiment with chocolate recipes and initially only gifted chocolates to friends and family. Unexpectedly, the handmade chocolates became so popular that 18°C Chocolate Factory was born.
