Nanzhuang Agricultural Association Home Economics Class Restaurant Introduction
The Home Economics Class was established in the Nanzhuang area in the early days to encourage rural women to participate in secondary training, engage in rural side businesses, improve economic conditions, enhance the quality of agricultural products, create business opportunities, and invigorate the rural economy. With guidance from the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, and the assistance of the Miaoli County Government, Miaoli County Agricultural Association, Miaoli District Agricultural Improvement Station, and Nanzhuang Farmers' Association, the Home Economics Class was formed. Located not far from the Old Street, it has become a favorite restaurant for both tourists and local friends. Due to the humid climate in Nanzhuang, many local fresh specialties have been cultivated, such as alpine trout, bamboo shoots, and shiitake mushrooms. Over the years, with the incorporation of local fresh ingredients and continuously improving cooking techniques, it has evolved into a renowned restaurant featuring Nanzhuang specialties.
