Fan Pen Tou Introduction
"Fan Bontou," a place to eat, is located in the Funnan Village of Nanzhuang Township. The exterior and interior decoration of the building were handcrafted by the owner, using local specialties like Gui Bamboo to create a beautiful Hakka style with minimal expense. Boss Ni, a Hakka native and local, runs this restaurant with the sincere and humble nature of a countryside person, focusing on providing delicious and healthy Hakka cuisine for guests. The ingredients come from free-range local chickens, freshly grown fruits and vegetables, as well as preservative-free pickled plums, mustard greens, radish, and spicy bamboo shoots made by grandma. Boss Ni insists on natural, healthy, and fresh ingredients, allowing guests to enjoy not only the delicious food but also the warmth and hospitality of the Hakka people. Due to past efforts, Fan Bontou has been recognized as an excellent Hakka restaurant by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Miaoli County.
