Fan Pen Tou Introduction
"Fan Pen Tou" is a dining place located in the Funa community of Nanzhuang Township. The exterior and interior decoration of the building have been handcrafted by the owner, using local specialty bamboo from Nanzhuang, creating a beautiful simplicity in Hakka style at minimal cost. The owner, Mr. Ni, a native Hakka, embodies the down-to-earth nature of rural folks with sincerity and gratitude. He operates this restaurant with care, allowing customers to enjoy delicious and healthy Hakka cuisine. The ingredients are sourced from free-range local chickens, fresh local fruits and vegetables, and homemade pickled products such as plums, preserved mustard greens, radish, and pickled bamboo shoots, all without preservatives. Mr. Ni insists on using natural, healthy, and fresh ingredients, allowing guests not only to enjoy excellent food but also to experience the warmth and friendliness of Hakka culture. Due to past efforts, Fan Pen Tou has received recognition as an excellent Hakka cuisine restaurant certified by the Miaoli County Cultural Affairs Bureau.
