Established for over a decade, the Dajia International Shopping Center is an important landmark in the Greater Taoyuan area. The exterior features cultural stone walls that exude a strong European style, with smooth curved shapes that subvert traditional department store architectural impressions. Upon its opening, it attracted significant attention due to its modern aesthetic and eye-catching design. Inside, the design concept is based on "a shopping street city full of sunlight, air, and water," evident from the spacious and transparent shopping areas as well as the winding walkways. The Dajia building stands at 9 stories high, planned with a five-story mall featuring high ceilings, allowing natural light to come in and seamlessly connect with the outdoor environment, enhancing the leisurely shopping experience. To create a lively environment for free movement through the streets, the spatial planning avoids the uniformity of rectangular layouts that maximize square footage, opting instead for dynamic corridors that keep visitors anticipating what surprises await around the next corner.
