Laojiexi Riverside Cycling Path Introduction
The Old Street Creek Riverside Bicycle Path features about 3.2 kilometers in the Zhongli section, 2.8 kilometers in the Pingzhen section, and 4.5 kilometers in the Longtan section, linking New Era Park, the Southern Youth Activity Center, the Old Street Creek River Education Center, the Cui Ti Plaza, and the Cui Ti Bridge among other attractions. Along the bicycle path, in addition to enjoying the transforming riverside landscape, more than ten cultural, ecological, tourism, and leisure spots will gradually open. The increasingly beautiful Old Street makes it hard not to fall in love with it. The improvement of Old Street Creek includes flood control measures, bridge reconstruction, and riverside landscape regeneration, meeting flood control standards while enhancing the visual appeal of bridges, combining both flood prevention and scenic design functions. After the river's restoration, Old Street Creek, through the bicycle path, has created breathing space for the entire city. With the help of ecological engineering methods, Old Street Creek is no longer gray and dirty, but instead presents a sunny riverside view. Along this revitalized riverbank, there are traces of residents' lives, lush green vegetation, and the spacious New Era Park. At the River Education Center, there are also places for visitors to rest. The quiet educational center amidst the hustle and bustle carries the responsibility of helping people understand coexistence with nature. Riding along the path, the harmonious space between people and nature unfolds along the bicycle route.
