Ershui Traditional Noodles Introduction
Away from the streets of Ershui, we arrive at the famous Dongzuo Stone Inkstone, then walk 100 meters north and turn into an alley, where we come across a noodle stand nestled in a quiet residential area. Even more surprising is the crowd of diners at the noodle shop. The owner, O Lianzhao, used to carry noodles on his shoulder to sell all around. His unique traditional flavor has become a favorite among the locals of Ershui. Although the shop is now away from the commercial zone, customers still flock to it for the aroma. He claims that the braised pork is his secret recipe, and the noodles are chewy and not mushy, topped with the fragrant pork sauce. Each bowl is only 20 NT dollars, making it a beloved dish not only for local patrons but also attracting many tourists on holidays.
