Rihsi Douhua Introduction
Rihsi Tapioca and Douhua was founded about 48 or 49 years ago by Zhou Qingchi, who started selling tapioca ice. In fact, Zhou Qingchi's previous generation was in the tapioca wholesale business. Zhou Qingchi thought that rather than just specializing in tapioca, he could use the materials available at home to make tapioca and douhua. Local people loved the taste, and worshippers visiting the Bixuan Temple also came in droves, attracted by the affordable and delicious treats, making it a well-known snack in Dongshan.
