Zhang's Farm Introduction
Director Chang Zhen-Chung, with a deep love and appreciation for the land, persisted in developing organic farming despite his parents' opposition. He has been awarded the Demonstration Farmer and Model Farmer titles by Tainan County Government, as well as the Shennong Award by the Xinshi Township Office. Since 1998, he has engaged in mixed farming, using the area as an experimental farm. The farm offers a "Farm Adoption Program" that allows everyone to become a farm owner, experiencing planting, fruit picking, baking, and brewing a rich cup of coffee. Visitors can enjoy coffee in the field and savor the leisurely scents of the countryside. Everyone is welcomed to share in the joy of witnessing the growth and changes in the garden! Specialty products include Xinshi White Wax Apple Tea and Xinshi Lowland Coffee. Handmade delicacies include coffee cakes, chocolate-covered coffee beans, coffee bean snacks, coffee iron eggs, White Wax Apple Tea jelly, and coffee jelly. Featured meal: Traditional Xinshi rice served with harvested rice.
