Black Bridge Sausage Museum Introduction
In 1957, Mr. Chen Wen-hui, the founder of Heipai Foods, established a family-style meat processing factory near the Tainan Canal, commonly known as "Wuqiao" (now known as Xinnan Bridge). In 1973, the trademark "Heiqiao Qiao" was registered, and in 1979, the factory was expanded to the Anping Industrial Zone in Tainan, becoming Taiwan's first automated meat processing plant. In December 2009, it was officially renamed "Heipai Enterprise Co., Ltd.", and in 2012, the Heipai Sausage Museum, a tourist factory, was established to promote education in the meat processing industry and to cultivate the culture of original cuisine.
