Chao Shi Lu is located at the intersection of downtown Penghu and the Circum-Taiwan Highway. The exterior looks quaint, with a creative sign made of iron dish plates that sparks interest. Inside, vintage ice shavers, antique posters, and early pinball machines are displayed, giving this unique eatery a strong nostalgic vibe from its appearance to its interior decor. Each dish at Chao Shi Lu combines local traditional ingredients with the owner's creativity to create unique and delicious cuisine, such as the "Giant Clam Rice," which perfectly combines the sticky texture of glutinous rice and the fresh taste of giant clams, served with glutinous rice wrapped inside the clam, making it hard to resist one after another.
