Shigandang Appearance: Tower-shaped, Total Height: 4.16m, Circumference: 19.28m, Construction Form: Conical shape, Top Ornament: Gourd. Anping Sea Area is a popular spot for intertidal activities and rock fishing, and it is also an essential route from Magong to Baisha and Xiyu. The main belief center is the Zhou Wang Temple. In the early days, Penghu's land was barren, so the ancestors would bring sea sand to compost to enrich the soil, allowing crops to grow successfully. They established a stone tower on the sandy land commonly known as Yuzi Jiao to identify the tides and facilitate sand collection. It has stood for many years, protecting residents. It is also said that if stones fall from the tower, it is an ominous sign indicating that someone in the village has passed away. To reinforce the tower, during the 62nd year of the Republic of China, it was filled with cement following instructions from Lord Zhou Wang. Source: Oral history from local elders of Anzhai Village.
