Anzhai Li · Yuzi Jintou Introduction
The appearance of Shigandang: Tower-shaped, total height: 4.16 meters, circumferential length: 19.28 meters, construction form: conical shape, tower top decoration: gourd. Anping Sea Area is a popular spot for intertidal activities and rock fishing, and it is the main passage from Magong to Baisha and Xiyu. With the Zhou Wang Temple as the main religious center, the early Penghu land was barren; in order to enrich the soil, the ancestors would bring in sea sand for composting to facilitate the growth of crops. A stone tower was established on the sandy land commonly known as Yujijiao to identify the tides, making it easier to collect sand from the sea. For many years, it has blessed the residents and stood firm. It is said that if stones fall from the tower, it indicates someone in the village has passed away, which is an omen.
