Nanao Farm Introduction
Nan'ao Farm is located at the southern end of the Lanyang Plain, offering utilities such as water and electricity, a barbecue area, and clean bathroom facilities. In addition to the sinks, there is also a drinking water dispenser, which is truly considerate. There is no shelter on the vast grassland, and the farm is free from light pollution, with a mild climate and good visibility. There is also no air pollution, and the night sky is filled with stars, making it suitable for astronomy and star observation. The surrounding natural landscape is rich in mountains, streams, and coastline, making it ideal for eco-tourism, farm experiences, team-building activities, and family events. With such diverse ecology, visitors can enjoy the wide area and comfortable facilities without paying fees, making it a beloved travel destination for many. Nan'ao Farm was originally managed by the Land Bank under the Ministry of Finance and was transferred to the Yilan County Government in 1999. It is currently operated in cooperation with the National Property Administration and the Yilan County Government, and has been planned and opened as a leisure farm to promote recreational agriculture and provide tourism for the public.
