Nan'ao Farm Introduction
Nanao Farm is located at the southernmost end of the Lanyang Plain, offering electricity, a barbecue area, and clean bathroom facilities, including washbasins and drinking water dispensers, which are very considerate. The vast grassland is unobstructed, with no light pollution around the farm, a mild climate, and excellent visibility. There is also no air pollution, and the night sky is brilliant, allowing visitors to gaze at the stars up close, making it suitable for astronomy and stargazing. The surrounding natural landscapes, such as mountains, streams, and coastlines, are abundant, making it ideal for ecological tourism, farm experiences, team-building activities, and family activities. With such a diverse ecosystem, wide space, and comfortable facilities available without charge, it is a favored travel destination for visitors. Nanao Farm was originally operated by the Taiwan Land Bank under the Ministry of Finance. In 1999, it was taken over by the Yilan County Government. It is currently co-managed by the National Property Administration and the Yilan County Government, and it has been planned and opened as a recreational farm to promote leisure agriculture and provide for national tourism.
