Zhaoyang Fishing Port Introduction
Located by the sea in Chaoyang Village, Su'ao Township (commonly known as Daan'ao), the area is shielded by the Wushi Nose Nature Reserve to the north and boasts rich maritime resources. As a result, Chaoyang Fishing Port has become a favorite spot for rock fishing enthusiasts and is known as the most abundant fishing ground in the southern part of Su'ao Township. The fishing port is very clean, free of debris, garbage, and fishy odors, unlike other fishing ports. When mentioning Chaoyang Fishing Port, one cannot help but think of the local residents and tourists waiting alongside the port, eagerly anticipating the return of fishing boats. Local fishers from Daan'ao bring their full loads of catches back to port every day at 7 AM and 4 PM. The waters off Daan'ao are relatively deep and are traversed by the Kuroshio Current, leading to catches that mainly consist of medium to large, high-value migratory fish. The waters near Daan'ao are less polluted, resulting in fresh and sweet-tasting fish. As soon as the fishing boats dock, crowds rush in to grab their desired fish species, afraid of missing out. After selecting their catch, customers can weigh and pay right next to the road, attracting many to purchase fresh seafood here.
