Jiaoxi Hot Spring Plaza Introduction
Jiaoxi Hot Spring Square is located at the intersection of Section 5 of Jiaoxi Road and Hot Spring Road. The square features hot spring figure statues, which often make passing travelers pause to take photos and enjoy a brief rest. On the other side of the square, there is the Tang Wei Creek Trail, where visitors can enjoy the lush greenery along the natural path, savoring a leisurely and peaceful time. A landmark of Jiaoxi Hot Springs is the prominent four characters “Jiaoxi Hot Spring,” which is very imposing! The most eye-catching feature in Jiaoxi Hot Spring Square is the “big stone,” which stands firmly on the grass, making it a significant symbol of Jiaoxi Hot Springs. Tourists visiting this site often take photos here, and it is also a favored location for photographers. The Tang Wei Creek Trail is suitable for slowing down and taking a walk along the creek. A small section of the Tang Wei Creek Trail runs beside Jiaoxi Hot Spring Square, where it is common to see local elders, children, and couples leisurely walking along the path during the afternoon, evening, or after dinner. The trail is equipped with many benches, allowing weary walkers to sit down and enjoy the scenery or chat with companions. Jiaoxi Multi-Story Parking Lot: Its distinctive geometric design is quite striking! The Jiaoxi Hot Spring area gets crowded on weekends, often making parking spots difficult to find. The Jiaoxi Township Office has specially opened this multi-story parking lot, which includes 253 parking spaces for general and disabled vehicles. The fee structure is as follows: during the day (08:00-23:00) for regular cars it is 30 NT dollars per hour, at night (23:00-08:00) it is 20 NT dollars per hour, with a maximum fee of 300 NT dollars for the day. Tourists are welcome to park their vehicles here and enjoy a delightful hot spring experience!
