Dongshan River Ecological Green Boat Introduction
Dongshan River Ecological Green Boat is located in the upper reaches of the Dongshan River in Yilan. It is a park with a large area, covering approximately 18 hectares (including water bodies). With its vast views, it focuses on a forest theme, integrating the Dongshan River into a natural forest park and creating a rich natural ecology. Before the park officially opened, many species such as birds, fish, frogs, and reptiles were discovered on this land, making it a home for wildlife. To protect their habitats and living environments, human interference needs to be minimized, and activities that may cause damage or impact, such as cycling, kite flying, and fishing, are prohibited. The eastern bank of the Dongshan River Ecological Green Boat retains native vegetation, serving as a habitat for migratory birds. In addition to bird watching and exploring the ecology by boat, the park features facilities such as the Dongshan River Railway Bridge, Earth Games Area, Bird Watching Platform, and walking paths, making it a forest park with recreational and natural ecology educational significance. Dongshan River Ecological Green Boat is also close to popular attractions such as Dongshan River Water Park, Wu-Wei-Keng Scenic Area, National Center for Traditional Arts, and Luodong Night Market.
