Brown Boulevard, Yilan Introduction
Browning Boulevard is not only found in Taitung; there is also a beautiful Browning Boulevard in Sanqi Village, Dongshan Township, Yilan County, which is a hidden gem of Yilan. Unlike the straight Browning Boulevard in Taitung's Chihshang, Yilan's Browning Boulevard has winding paths that enhance its visual appeal, offering even more breathtaking views than Taitung's. From late June to early July, when the lush green rice fields begin to turn golden, visitors can admire the golden waves of rice and the winding paths from the observation deck, free from the interference of utility poles. With the backdrop of blue skies, white clouds, and distant mountains, the scenery is as beautiful as a painting. Riding a bicycle or strolling through the rice fields, one can feel a gentle breeze carrying the fragrance of rice, prompting a slower pace to savor the tranquility of the moment. The Yilan Browning Boulevard prohibits vehicles, allowing only pedestrians and cyclists; all vehicles must park next to the Fongzun Temple. Travelers using public transportation can take the train to Dongshan Guapo Station and rent bicycles to ride along Chengxing Road, turning left onto Sanfeng Road to reach their destination, embarking on an unforgettable ride through the rice waves.
