Yilan Brown Boulevard Introduction
Bolang Avenue is not only found in Taitung; there is also a beautiful Bolang Avenue hidden in Sanqi Village, Dongshan Township, Yilan County, which is a secret spot in Yilan. Unlike the straight Bolang Avenue in Chihshang, Taitung, Yilan's Bolang Avenue features winding pathways that enhance its visual beauty, surpassing the scenic charm of Taitung's Bolang Avenue. From late June to early July, when the lush green rice fields begin to turn golden, standing on a nearby observation deck offers a breathtaking view of the golden waves of rice and the meandering paths, free from the obstruction of power poles. Coupled with the vast scenery of blue sky, white clouds, and distant mountains, it resembles a beautiful painting. Riding a bike or walking through the rice fields, with a gentle breeze carrying the fragrance of rice, one cannot help but slow down, find peace of mind, and enjoy the tranquility of the moment. Additionally, vehicles are prohibited from entering Yilan's Bolang Avenue, allowing only pedestrians and cyclists. Vehicles must be parked beside Fengzhun Temple. Tourists using public transportation can take the train to Dongshan Guapeng Station, then rent a bike and ride along Chenghsing Road, turning left onto Sanfeng Road to reach the destination, embarking on a journey through the rice waves by bicycle.
