Yilan Brown Boulevard Introduction
The Brown Boulevard is not only in Taitung; there is also a beautiful Brown Boulevard hidden in Sanqi Village, Dongshan Township, Yilan County, which is a secret spot belonging to Yilan. Unlike the straight Brown Boulevard in Taitung's Chishang, Yilan's Brown Boulevard features winding paths that enhance the visual beauty, surpassing the scenic appeal of Taitung's version. From late June to early July, when the lush green rice fields begin to turn golden, standing on a nearby observation deck offers a breathtaking view of the golden rice waves and the winding paths, free from the interference of power poles. Coupled with the expansive sight of blue skies, white clouds, and distant mountains, it is as beautiful as a painting. Riding a bicycle or walking through the rice fields, with a gentle breeze and the aroma of rice wafting in, encourages one to slow down, calm the mind, and savor this moment of tranquility. Additionally, Yilan's Brown Boulevard prohibits vehicle entry, allowing only pedestrians and cyclists; vehicles must be parked next to the Fengzun Temple. Tourists taking public transport can take the train to Dongshan Guapeng Station, then rent a bicycle and ride along Chengxing Road, turning left onto Sanfeng Road to reach the destination for a rice wave bicycle tour.
