Wax Art Museum Introduction
Wax Art Industry was founded in 1990. To let more people know about the high-quality crayons made in Taiwan, the Wax Art Painting Museum was established in 2008 for visits. With continuous innovation and improvement, it became the first excellent tourist factory in the stationery industry to be certified by the Ministry of Economic Affairs as an excellent tourist factory in 2010. Currently, Wax Art is the only crayon production factory in Taiwan that handles the entire manufacturing process. We constantly develop and research to expand the functions of crayons, ensuring that every age group has different functional crayons to use. At the Wax Art Painting Museum, you can learn about our production process through guided videos, and gain important knowledge about crayon manufacturing techniques and raw materials, which will help you easily choose safe and suitable crayons. Inside the museum, we have also miniaturized the crayon production process, allowing everyone to see crayon manufacturing and make their own crayons in a safe environment. Families can learn and enjoy the sense of accomplishment from DIY activities in a fun and interactive setting. You can also use special crayons to draw on large walls and your skin, making it safe and enjoyable. You can even experience a nostalgic return to 20 years ago with the DIY colored pen activity, creating your own unique colored pens! Admission includes access to graffiti painting, DIY colored pens, DIY shaped crayons, eco-friendly multi-colored crayons, body painting, a dressing-up area, and a star avenue, allowing you to try out unique styles and take photos in themed backgrounds for an immersive experience! The ticket is NT$200 and includes five experiences, with completed works to take home! Graffiti area: Experience the magical print crayon drawing, and enjoy the exclusive eco-friendly whiteboard crayons and bathroom crayons on seven large graffiti walls. DIY colored pens: Experience the fun of traditional handcrafted colored pens from 20 years ago and learn about the structure and principles of colored pens in the process. DIY shaped crayons: Choose your favorite shapes and colors from various molds, including A-Z letters, Taiwan, and numbers 123, and follow the crayon production process to deeply appreciate the making methods. Eco-friendly multi-colored crayons: Choose from a variety of colorful wax beads and manually press them in a machine to create unique multi-colored crayons! Drawing with them will also create gradient colors! Body painting: Using safe materials that have passed inspection, you can safely paint on various parts of the body with your family, and they can be removed with soap and water. What’s more exciting is our dressing-up area and star avenue, allowing you to try out unique styles and take photos in themed backgrounds for an immersive experience!
