Wax Painting Museum Introduction
Established in 1990, Wax Art Industry aims to let more people know about the great crayons made in Taiwan. In 2008, it opened the Wax Art Painting Museum for public visits. With continuous innovation and improvement, it was certified as an excellent tourist factory by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 2010, becoming the first excellent tourist factory in the stationery industry. Currently, Wax Art is the only crayon production factory in Taiwan that handles the entire manufacturing process. Through ongoing development and research, we have expanded the functionality of crayons, providing crayons suitable for different age groups. At the Wax Art Painting Museum, you can learn about our production process through guided videos, understand the techniques and materials involved in crayon manufacturing, and gain important knowledge about crayons to easily choose safe and suitable options. Inside the museum, we have miniaturized the crayon production process, allowing everyone to see crayon manufacturing and even make crayons themselves in a safe environment. Parents and children can learn while enjoying a fun, interactive experience, feeling a sense of accomplishment from their DIY creations. You can also use our special crayons on large walls and your skin—safe and fun! Additionally, you can experience a nostalgic activity from 20 years ago—DIY colored pens, where you can personally craft various colored pens! The entrance ticket is NT$200, which includes five experiences such as graffiti painting, colored pen DIY, shaped crayon DIY, eco-friendly multi-color crayons, body painting, a dressing-up area, and a star-studded avenue. Be sure to try out unique looks and take photos against themed backgrounds! In the graffiti painting area, enjoy the magical experience of imprinted crayon art and have fun with our exclusive eco-friendly whiteboard crayons and bathroom crayons on seven graffiti walls. The colored pen DIY allows you to return to the traditional fun of handcrafting colored pens and learn about their structure and principles. The shaped crayon DIY offers various molds including A-Z letters and numbers, allowing you to choose your favorite shapes and colors while experiencing the crayon production process deeply. For the eco-friendly multi-color crayons, select and combine colorful wax granules, then place them in the machine for manual compression, resulting in a unique multi-color crayon that produces gradient colors! The body painting section uses safe materials that have passed inspections, providing peace of mind for the whole family when painting on the skin, and they can be removed with soap and water. We also have a dressing-up area and a star-studded avenue, where you can try out different looks and capture memorable photos against themed backgrounds! All activities are conducted indoors, so there's no need to worry about rain or heat—exciting experiences await you! Plus, every ticket purchase comes with an exclusive souvenir!
