Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (Beiheng Visitor Center) Introduction
The Beiheng Visitor Center public restroom will be temporarily closed for internal renovations and sanitation equipment upgrades from June 1, 2025, to November 30, 2025. The Beiheng Visitor Center serves as the first stop for visitors entering the Beiheng Mountain area, providing travel information and itinerary arrangements, as well as insights into the historical stories of Beiheng, particularly focusing on the life of Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo and events that occurred in Beiheng and Taiwan. Here, visitors can see various artifacts and interactive exhibits, allowing them to appreciate the natural beauty of Beiheng while gaining a deeper understanding of Taiwan's former leaders and how they guided the country through difficulties to its current prosperity. The first floor exhibition, themed "The Starting Point of Beiheng," showcases the characteristics of the Beiheng Mountain area and Daxi woodcraft. Tourists can use the LINE@ official account and new media devices to experience the scenery of Beiheng from different angles and ways, feeling its charm and collecting its beauty. The second floor exhibition is themed "Carrying Heavy Burdens, Walking Difficult Roads," centering on Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo and the ten major constructions he promoted, displaying the political, economic, and diplomatic developments since the 1970s, as well as how Taiwan overcame difficulties and progressed. Visitors can use artifacts and interactive experiences to gain a broad perspective on the changes in Taiwan over the years.
