Cihu Memorial Sculpture Park Introduction
Daxi Cihu Memorial Sculpture Park is located next to the Cihu parking lot. The park features a collection of bronze statues of President Chiang Kai-shek donated from across the country, allowing visitors to learn about his achievements. The largest statue in the park, named "Wounds and Rebirth," was donated by Kaohsiung City and is displayed independently on the park's lawn after restoration. Currently, there are nearly two hundred bronze statues in total, including familiar full-body and bust statues, most of which were donated by schools or institutions, as well as seated and horseback statues, each holding artistic value. The entire park is interconnected by walkways to connect the statue placements, along with landscaped gardens and small bridges, creating a graceful ambiance.
