Cihu Memorial Sculpture Park Introduction
The Daxi Cihu Memorial Sculpture Park is located next to the Cihu parking lot, where various statues of President Chiang Kai-shek, donated from across the nation, are displayed for visitors to learn about his achievements. The largest statue in the park, donated by Kaohsiung City, has been restored and is named "Wounds and Rebirth," uniquely showcased on the grassy area of the park. Today, nearly 200 bronze statues, including familiar full and bust statues, most of which were donated by schools or institutions, along with seated and horseback sculptures, are present, each holding artistic value. The entire park connects the placement of the statues through walking paths, featuring garden landscaping and small bridges with flowing water, creating a rather elegant ambiance.
