Longgang Forest Park Introduction
The opening of this large forest park surrounding Longgang Sports Field has provided a complete recreational space for the Longgang area, which previously lacked spacious parks. Longgang Park has been renovated into a lush landscape park where visitors can embrace nature up close, allow pets to run freely, and enjoy a vibrant and healthy lifestyle! Longgang Forest Park is an environmentally friendly recreational green space funded by the government for air quality purification, and it is the sixth air quality area in Zhongli District. The park covers an area of 2.5 hectares and is home to a variety of tree species, including Black Pine, Araucaria columnaris, and Camphor trees, along with the original 300 deciduous trees that offer a colorful view throughout the changing seasons. Visitors can enjoy the towering trees overhead, creating a refreshing and serene atmosphere. The park is also planted with Bermuda grass, making it suitable for family picnics with light snacks, allowing everyone to enjoy the sunshine, gentle breeze, and quality time on the grass. Multiple wash stations and simple restrooms are set up throughout the park for a clean and comfortable environment. At Longgang Forest Park, visitors can take a walk along the outer trail, breathe in the fresh air, and experience the relaxation brought by phytoncides and negative ions. Biking is also an option, as the 1,073-meter long bike path allows for a leisurely ride to adjust body and mind. The park features basketball courts and children's play facilities, enabling both young and old to enjoy and break a sweat. For a more laid-back activity, strolling through the central plaza and flower架 corridor is also a good choice. The park is equipped with solar underground lights, park lights, tree lights, and a military-style LED light wall at Longgang Fortress, offering a soft beauty at night that enhances safety during nighttime activities.
