On June 24th, the birthday of Lord Guan Sheng Di Jun, the lively citywide procession takes place. Come to witness the parade of divine generals and the gathering of century-old community teams. It's the second New Year celebration for the people of Daxi, and you won’t want to miss it!

Daxi Puji Temple Introduction

Puji Temple was established in 1902 and is dedicated to the Three Sacred Emperors (Guan Sheng Emperor, Fu Yu Xian Ancestor, and Jiu Tian Si Ming). With a history of over a hundred years, it serves as the spiritual center of Daxi. The birthday celebration of Guan Sheng Emperor on the 24th day of the 6th lunar month is the largest event in the area and is regarded as Daxi's second New Year. In addition to its usual bustling worshippers, Puji Temple also becomes an important venue for people to pray for blessings during the Spring Festival. After worshiping, visitors can stroll through Daxi Old Street to welcome spring.

Transportation Methods:- Take the Taoyuan Bus 5000 route [Taoyuan - Shih Shan High School (via Daxi)], 5090 route [Taoyuan - Shang Ba Ling - Lin Ban Kuo], 5091 route [Zhongli - Shang Ba Ling - Lin Ban Kuo], 5096 route [Taoyuan - Daxi (via Geng Liao Jiao)], 5098 route [Zhongli - Daxi (via Guan Lu Que)], 5101 route [Yingge - Daxi (via Xin Zhong)], 5112 route [Zhongli - Daxi (via Bade)], or the Jieshun Transportation 710 route [Daxi - MRT Yongning Station] and get off at Xinjiewei Station, then walk about 500 meters to reach your destination. - Take the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle 502 route [Xiao Wulai...].


Parking Information:1. Qiaotou Parking Lot has 15 spaces for large vehicles and 418 spaces for small vehicles. 2. The parking lot in front of the office has 45 spaces for small vehicles. 3. Ting II Parking Lot has 82 spaces for small vehicles. 4. Yue Mei Parking Lot has 8 spaces for large vehicles and 130 spaces for small vehicles. 5. There is a parking lot available at the temple.

Remarks:■It is relatively difficult to find parking when driving; it is recommended to take public transportation. ■The parking lot inside the temple is only available for worshippers' vehicles.
