Daxi Pu-ji Temple Introduction

Puji Temple was established in 1902 and is dedicated to the Three Holy Lords (Guan Sheng Emperor, Fu You Xian Ancestor, and Jiu Tian Si Ming). With a history of over a hundred years, it serves as the spiritual center of Daxi. The celebration of Guan Sheng Emperor's birthday on the 24th day of the 6th lunar month is the largest event in the area, often regarded as Daxi's second New Year. Furthermore, during the Lunar New Year period, Puji Temple, which is usually bustling with worshippers, is an important site for people to offer incense and pray for blessings. Visitors can also take a leisurely stroll through Daxi Old Street afterward to enjoy the spring atmosphere.
