Daxi Wood Art Ecological Museum - Feng Fei-fei Story Museum Introduction
During the Japanese colonial era, it served as the "Chief of the Police Department of Daxi County Government". At that time, Daxi County also included the present-day Fuxing District of Taoyuan City and the Jianshi Township of Hsinchu County. The police department was responsible for managing the relationship between Daxi and the mountain tribes. From the Japanese era until 2015, the heads of the police in the Daxi area resided here, which is why it has been well-preserved and registered as a historical building on August 29, 2012. This building is the best-preserved and largest standalone Japanese-style dormitory within the Daxi Police Station dormitory complex. Since 2022, it has been operated by the Daxi Panshan Educational Foundation, currently featuring the permanent exhibition "The Singing Girl in Daxi - The Story of Feng Fei-fei".
