Daxi Wood Art Ecological Museum - Feng Fei-fei Story House Introduction

During the Japanese colonial period, it served as the residence of the Chief of the Police Section of the Daxi County Government Office. At that time, Daxi County also included what is now the Fuxing District of Taoyuan City and the Jian Shi Township of Hsinchu County. The police section was responsible for managing the relationship between Daxi and the indigenous tribes in the mountainous areas. From the Japanese era until 2015, the police chiefs of the Daxi area lived here, which is why it is well-preserved. It was registered as a historic building on August 29, 2012. This structure is the best-preserved and largest stand-alone Japanese-style dormitory within the Daxi Police Station dormitory complex. Since 2022, it has been operated by the Dakekan Cultural and Educational Foundation and currently exhibits the permanent exhibition "The Singing Girl in Daxi – The Story Museum of Feng Fei-Fei." Transportation Methods：Take the Taiwan High Speed Rail to Taoyuan HSR Station and ride Taiwan Scenic Shuttle Bus Route 501 (Daxi Express Line) to get off at "Daxi Old Street Station." From Taoyuan Railway Station to the rear station of Taoyuan Bus Station, take Route 5096 and get off at "Daxi Bus Station." From Taoyuan Bus Station, take Taiwan Scenic Shuttle Bus Route 502 (served on holidays) to "Daxi Old Street Station." From Zhongli Railway Station, take Route 5098 from the right side of the rear station exit to "Daxi Bus Station." From Yongning MRT Station, take Route 710 from Exit 4 and get off at "Xinjiawei Station" or "Daxi Bus Station."

Parking Information：1. Chao-Tou Parking Lot has 15 spaces for large vehicles and 418 spaces for small vehicles. 2. The parking lot in front of the township office has 45 spaces for small vehicles. 3. Yue-Mei Parking Lot has 8 spaces for large vehicles and 130 spaces for small vehicles.
