Daxi Wood Art Ecology Museum - Feng Fei-fei Story Museum Introduction
During the Japanese era, it was the official residence of the Superintendent of the Police Department of the Daxi District Office. At that time, the Daxi District governed areas that now include the Fuxing District of Taoyuan City and the Jian Shi Township of Hsinchu County. The Police Department was responsible for managing the relationship between Daxi and the indigenous tribes. From the Japanese era until 2015, the resident police chief of the Daxi area lived here, which is why the building is in good condition. It was registered as a historical building on August 29, 2012. This building is the largest and best-preserved standalone Japanese-style dormitory among the Daxi Police Dormitory complex. Since 2022, it has been operated by the Daxikeng Cultural and Educational Foundation and currently hosts the permanent exhibition "The Singing Girl in Daxi – The Story Hall of Feng Fei-Fei."
