Daxi Wood Art Eco Museum - Wood Life Hall Introduction
Musu Life Museum (formerly known as Jiang Gong's Residence) carries a past centered around notable figures and was once a living space with a unique story. Continuing to showcase the meaning of life, it has been transformed into the "Musu Life Museum," resonating with Daxi's characteristic woodcraft culture. The previously private living space has been opened and made public, allowing skills, arts, culture, and industry to blossom in exchange. The "Photosynthesis Space," the first large room upon entrance, was originally the reception area and meeting room of the residence. Thus, the concept of hospitality has been planned for the "Photosynthesis Space," where the creations of local artisans welcome visitors. Here, audiences can engage in dialogue with the artworks, and the seeds of inspiration sprout as if bathed in sunlight; light refreshments are also provided. The "Cultivation Space" showcases various wooden furniture and art pieces that embody the diverse aspects of life. Visitors can experience the messages conveyed by the works, allowing the budding inspirations to thrive. The "New Life Space," located near the scenic Dahan River, is decorated with the creations of both domestic and international artists that revolve around the "wood theme." It is hoped that visitors will appreciate the diverse forms of woodcraft creations, feel the beauty of wood life, and contemplate how to integrate wooden elements into their lives, thus embarking on a new wooden way of living!
