Daxi Wood Art Ecological Museum - Wood Life Hall Introduction
Musu Life Pavilion (formerly Chiang Kai-shek Residence) carries a story centered around a person and was once a living space with a special narrative. Continuing to showcase the meaning of life, it has transformed into the "Musu Life Pavilion," resonating with Daxi's unique woodcraft culture. The previously private living space is now open and public, allowing for the exchange and flourishing of skills, art, culture, and industry. The "Light Space," the first large room upon entering, was the original reception area and meeting room of the residence. Therefore, the "Light Space" is designed with the concept of hospitality, where the creations of local artisans welcome visitors. Here, the audience can engage in dialogue with the artworks, with the seeds of inspiration sprouting as if bathed in sunlight; light meal services are also offered. The "Cultivation Space" showcases various wooden furniture and artistic works that express the diverse aspects of life. Experience the messages conveyed by the works here, allowing the sprouting seeds of inspiration to thrive. The "New Life Space," a room near the scenic Dahan River, is decorated with works from domestic and international artists that revolve around the "wood theme." It aims to encourage the audience to appreciate the diverse appearances of woodcraft, feel the beauty of wood life, and contemplate the integration of wooden elements into their lives, embarking on a new wooden lifestyle!
