Liberty Palette Cultural and Creative Park Introduction
Liberty was founded in 1948, starting with steel plate wax paper (oil printing). As times changed, the founder, Mr. Wang Songzhen, seized the opportunity and later introduced pencil manufacturing technology from Japan, creating Taiwan's first "88 Pencil," which quickly became a classic and enduring legend in the stationery industry. To meet the demand of the stationery market, Liberty introduced brands from Japan and South Korea for sale in Taiwan, gradually transforming into a new era and leading the stationery industry to another peak. Liberty's long-standing efforts are well-known, making it a household name and a thriving enterprise. Since Mr. Wang Songzhen was awarded Honorary Manager in 1966 and met with Vice President Chen Cheng, both Mr. Wang himself and the company have continuously received recognition and various awards from all sectors, such as the Gold Trademark Gold Award, Outstanding Product First Brand Award, Outstanding Brand Management Entrepreneur, Rising Star Enterprise, Rising Star Stationery, and the China Gold Sign Manufacturer Award. In 2006, it was awarded as a Superbrand of Taiwan by the British Superbrands organization, among many others, making it a remarkable figure in Taiwan's economic miracle. Upholding the corporate philosophy of "Integrity and Responsibility, Mutual Respect and Prosperity, Joyful Innovation, and Challenging Excellence," Liberty insists on quality products made with excellence, providing diverse choices and customized services that have won the favor of consumers, continuously contributing to Taiwan's stationery market. The veteran Liberty Taoyuan factory was transformed in 2019 into the "Liberty Color Pencil Creative Museum," making its debut with a new look as the first rebuilt operation in the Guishan Industrial Park. We welcome you to step inside this remaining pencil manufacturing factory in Taiwan, experience the cultural creativity of colored pencils and stationery, and enjoy a wonderful experience of dining, shopping, and leisure!
