Li Bai Dai Color Pencil Cultural Creative Museum Introduction
Liberty was founded in 1948, originally starting with steel plate wax paper (oil printing). As times changed, the founder, Mr. Wang Songzhen, demonstrated foresight by introducing pencil manufacturing technology from Japan, creating Taiwan's first "88 Pencil," which quickly became a legendary classic in the stationery industry. To meet the demand of the stationery market, Liberty later introduced Japanese and South Korean brands for sale in Taiwan, gradually transforming to lead the resurgence of the stationery industry. Liberty has long cultivated its brand, becoming a well-known and evergreen enterprise. Since the founder Mr. Wang Songzhen was selected as an honorary manager and received an audience with Vice President Chen Cheng in 1966, both Mr. Wang himself and the company have continuously received recognition and various awards from all walks of life, such as the Golden Trademark Gold Medal Award, Excellent Product First Brand Award, Outstanding Brand Manager, Emerging Enterprise Awards, and more. It was also honored as a Superbrand in Taiwan by the British Superbrands organization in 2006, among countless other accolades, making it a significant figure in Taiwan’s economic miracle. Upholding the corporate philosophy of "Integrity and Accountability, Respect and Prosperity, Joy in Innovation, Excellence in Challenge," Liberty insists on high-quality production of excellent products, providing diverse choices and customized services that have gained favor with consumers, and continues to contribute to Taiwan's stationery market. The veteran Liberty factory in Taoyuan was transformed into the "Liberty Color Pen Cultural and Creative Museum" in 2019, becoming the first example of reconstruction and operation on the original site of the Guishan Industrial Zone. You are welcome to step into this only remaining pencil manufacturing factory in Taiwan, experience the cultural creativity of colored pens and stationery, and enjoy a wonderful experience of dining, shopping, and leisure!
