Guishan First Riverside Park Introduction
The city is beautiful because of its water, originating from the Nankan River, which flows from Guishan. After being improved, the water quality is clear, attracting many water birds to inhabit the area. The riverside greenery flowing through the urban area is picturesque and features well-equipped bicycle and pedestrian paths, making it a very comfortable and relaxing environment for cycling along the coast or walking with pets. The First Riverside Park, located near Luguang Village, has an entrance adorned with a plum blossom plaza that features a five-petal plum blossom design as the canopy, reflecting the spirit of the Luguang community's love for home, country, and community, and is part of the preservation of military dependents' village culture. Additionally, there are several decommissioned military weapons on display, including an F-5F fighter jet, M41A3 light tank, and US-made M1 40mm anti-aircraft gun, allowing military enthusiasts to view them up close and providing the public with further insights into weaponry. A visit to the First Riverside Park would not be complete without seeing the Crescent Bridge, whose water-blue structure curves like a roller coaster and stands out against the blue sky. At night, it is illuminated with colorful lights, creating a romantic atmosphere, offering different experiences in both daytime and nighttime.
