Lion Hill Ancient Trail Introduction
Shishan Ancient Trail is a pathway connecting the front and back mountains of Shitou Mountain. Although the journey is long, the sections are gentle and easy to walk. The first half preserves a stone path paved with bluestone, while the latter half consists of concrete and asphalt roads. This area is also a well-known temple holy site, featuring six Buddhist temples along the way: Wanfo An, Lingxia Cave, Jingang Temple, Jue Ran Pagoda, Haihui An, and Yuanguang Temple. It is a common route for visitors, leading from Wangyue Pavilion to Quanhua Hall, thus entering Miaoli County from Hsinchu County.
