Lion Mountain Visitor Center Introduction

Shishan Visitor Center is located in Emei Township, Hsinchu County. Originally a derelict elementary school building, it has been transformed into a great place for travelers to rest and seek travel guidance. It integrates the local culture of Shitoushan, showcasing rich Hakka village characteristics within the park. Surrounding the Shishan Visitor Center are many important attractions within the Shitoushan Scenic Area, such as the Shishan Ancient Trail, Shuilian Bridge Trail, and Tengping Trail. The services provided inside are quite rich, with various thematic travel information boards that offer visitors a clear overview of the abundant travel resources in the Shishan area. The Shishan Classroom within the visitor center also introduces a guide map of the surrounding trails, allowing visitors to choose suitable routes for hiking according to their physical condition and mood.
