Shishan Visitor Center Introduction
Shishan Visitor Center is located in Emei Township, Hsinchu County. It was originally a vacant school building of Shishan Elementary School, and after renovation, it serves not only as a great place for travelers to rest and get travel guidance but also integrates local culture of Shitoushan, showcasing rich Hakka village characteristics within the park. Surrounding the Shishan Visitor Center are many important attractions within the Shitoushan Scenic Area, such as the Shishan Ancient Trail, the Water Margin Bridge Trail, and the Vine Platform Trail. The services inside the center are quite abundant, including various thematic travel information boards that provide a clear overview of the rich tourism resources in the Shishan area. The Shishan Classroom within the visitor center also presents guided maps of the nearby trails, allowing visitors to choose suitable routes based on their physical ability and mood. Additionally, it offers various conveniences such as travel brochures, mobile charging, basic medical supplies, and wireless internet, making hiking trips more comfortable and secure.
