Shihshan Visitor Center Introduction

Shishan Visitor Center is located in Emei Township, Hsinchu County. The center was formerly an abandoned school building of Shishan Elementary School. After renovation, it serves not only as a great place for travelers to rest and receive travel guidance, but also blends with the local culture of Shishan Mountain, showcasing the rich Hakka village style within the park. Surrounding the Shishan Visitor Center are many important attractions in the Shishan Scenic Area, such as Shishan Old Trail, Shuilian Bridge Trail, and Tengping Trail. The services inside the center are quite abundant, featuring various themed travel information panels that allow visitors to easily understand the rich tourism resources of the Shishan area. The Shishan classroom within the visitor center also provides trail maps for the surrounding paths, enabling visitors to choose suitable routes based on their fitness levels and mood. Additionally, it offers various convenient services such as travel brochures, mobile phone charging, basic medical supplies, and Wi-Fi, making the hiking experience more comfortable and secure. The Tung Blossom Festival, held every year from April to May, is the best time to visit the Shishan Visitor Center! The tung flowers bloom beautifully next to the visitor center, creating a white carpet effect on the ground, which is very picturesque. Coupled with the waterwheel landscape in the outdoor plaza area and the characteristic heart-shaped wall, the visitor center has also become a very worthwhile and beautiful attraction to visit!
