Lion Mountain Visitor Center Introduction
The Shishan Visitor Center is located in Emei Township, Hsinchu County. It was formerly a disused school building of Shishan Elementary School. After renovation, it has become an excellent place for travelers to rest and receive tourism guidance, while also integrating with the local culture of Shishan. The visitor center showcases the rich Hakka style within the park. Surrounding the Shishan Visitor Center are many important attractions within the Shitoushan Scenic Area, such as the Shishan Ancient Trail, the Shui-Lian Bridge Trail, and the Tengping Trail. The center provides abundant services, including display boards of various themed tourist attractions, which give visitors a clear overview of the rich tourism resources in the Shishan area. The Shishan classroom inside the visitor center also introduces the nearby trail maps, allowing visitors to choose suitable routes for hiking based on their physical condition and mood.
