Lion Mountain Visitor Center Introduction
Converted from the old "Shishan Elementary School" campus, it is located at approximately 5.5K on Zhuyi 41 Line. The center offers services such as travel information, guided tours, multimedia films, and a Lei Tea experience for visitors to understand different tea cultures. Next to it, the "Xiexin Tea House" was originally a teachers' dormitory, transformed into a relaxation space for tasting Hakka tea snacks. In April and May, the oil tung flowers on the left side of the tea house bloom beautifully, falling like snow in the wind, creating a romantic atmosphere. This center was established in July 2001 and the main building was originally the classroom of "Shishan Elementary School." It revitalizes the abandoned Shishan Elementary School while retaining the unique rustic charm of Hakka culture and providing tourism-related services. The center is divided into: 1. Audiovisual Room: With 44 seats, it usually provides visitors with multimedia film screenings and serves as a venue for various seminars hosted by the center. 2. Visitor Center: Offers relevant brochures, introductions to various townships in the area, and displays of attraction photographs. 3. Shishan Classroom: This classroom introduces nearby trails and is available for visitors to rest. 4. Convenient and thoughtful services: Mobile phone charging, basic medical supplies, free mosquito repellent, online internet access, vehicle charging, postcard mailing, fax receiving, a nursing room, personal hygiene products, taxi service, luggage storage, wheelchair, cane, and umbrella rentals, as well as reading glasses for the elderly.
