Shenjing Village Camellia Garden Area Introduction
Camellia is the county flower of Hsinchu County. It is cold-resistant and durable, with an elegant tree posture and charming flowers that vary in shape and color, appearing lovely without any sense of extravagance. It symbolizes elegance, and there is a hidden Camellia Village in Baoshan Township. The Qiu brothers of Shenjing Village have invested many years in cultivating Camellias, with nearly a thousand varieties, and their collection of Camellia bonsai and seedlings amounts to tens of thousands. The Qiu family Camellia Garden is spread throughout Shenjing Village, transforming the formerly quiet village into the vibrant Shenjing Camellia Garden Village, resembling a burst of blooming Camellias. During the period around the Lunar New Year, walking through the garden, one is dazzled by clusters of crimson, pure white, soft pink, and light orange flowers, creating an impression of being engulfed by Camellias, which brings joy and a desire to linger.
