Shenji Village Camellia Garden Area Introduction
Camellia is the county flower of Hsinchu County. It is known for its cold tolerance and durability, featuring a beautiful tree form with delicate, versatile, and charming flowers that exude elegance without a hint of opulence. In Baoshan Township, there lies a secluded village dedicated to camellias. The Qiu brothers in Shenjing Village have devoted many years to cultivating camellias, with almost a thousand varieties and tens of thousands of potted plants and seedlings. The Qiu Family Camellia Garden is spread throughout Shenjing Village, transforming the once quiet village into a vibrant Camellia Garden Village, alive with blooming flowers. During the peak blooming season around the Lunar New Year, walking through the garden, one is greeted by stunning clusters of crimson, pure white, soft pink, and light orange flowers, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that feels as if one is submerged in camellias, bringing delight and a sense of longing to linger.
