Shenjing Village Camellia Garden Area Introduction
Camellia is the county flower of Hsinchu County. It is cold-resistant and long-lasting, with beautiful tree forms and charming flowers that vary in shape and color, embodying elegance without any hint of ostentation. In Baoshan Township, there is a hidden village of camellias. The Qiu brothers of Shenjing Village have been dedicated to cultivating camellias for many years, with nearly a thousand varieties and tens of thousands of potted camellias and seedlings. The Qiu family’s camellia garden spans Shenjing Village, transforming the originally quiet village into a vibrant camellia garden village, reminiscent of blooming camellias. During the blooming season around the Lunar New Year, walking in the garden, you will be dazzled by clusters of vibrant crimson, pure white, tender pink, and light orange flowers, creating the illusion of being submerged in camellias, leaving visitors feeling elated and reluctant to leave.
