Shenjing Village Camellia Garden Area Introduction
Camellia, the county flower of Hsinchu County, is cold-resistant and long-lasting, with a beautiful tree posture. Its soft and charming flowers are diverse and lovely, embodying elegance without any hint of gaudiness. In Baoshan Township, there is a secluded village of camellias. The Qiu brothers in Shenjing Village have dedicated many years to cultivating camellias, producing nearly a thousand varieties, and their camellia bonsai and seedlings number in the tens of thousands. The Qiu family's camellia garden spans Shenjing Village, transforming the once-quiet village into a vibrant Camellia Garden Village, glowing like blooming camellias. During the blooming season around the Lunar New Year, walking in the garden, one is surrounded by clusters of bright red, pure white, soft pink, and light orange flowers, creating an illusion of being engulfed by camellias. It brings joy to the heart and makes one reluctant to leave.
