Shenjing Village Camellia Garden Area Introduction
Camellia is the county flower of Hsinchu County, known for its hardiness and long-lasting blooms. With its elegant tree form and charmingly delicate flowers that vary in appearance, it embodies grace without a hint of extravagance. In Baoshan Township, there lies a secluded village known for its camellias. The Qiu brothers from Shenjing Village have dedicated many years to cultivating camellias, boasting nearly a thousand varieties, with tens of thousands of camellia bonsai and seedlings. The Qiu family's camellia garden spreads throughout Shenjing Village, transforming this once-quiet village into a vibrant garden village where camellias bloom in splendid colors. During the flowering season around the Lunar New Year, walking through the gardens surrounded by clusters of bright red, pure white, soft pink, and light orange flowers creates an illusion of being enveloped by camellias, which is truly a sight to behold and hard to forget.
